Nirek withdraws purported takeover bid

BLAINE, WA, Dec. 31 /CNW/ - Century Mining Corporation (CMM: TSX-V) announced today that it has been advised that a purported takeover bid by Nirek Resources Inc. ("Nirek") has been withdrawn for technical reasons.
