VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 9, 2009) - ATW Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:ATW) ("ATW" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Graham Harris has been appointed as Chairman and David Stone has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of the Company.
Mr. Harris is one of the founders of the Company, being involved since inception and subsequent IPO in November of 2006. He has been an integral part of the acquisitions made to date and is committed to building a mid-tier gold producer. Mr. Harris has over 18 years of experience in the finance industry as a former Senior Vice President and Director at Canaccord Capital Corp. from 1999 to 2004. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and Director of Yorkton Securities. Mr. Harris has raised over $100 million for public and private companies in both the resource and high tech segments of capital markets. Mr. Harris obtained his BA in Economics from the University of British Columbia, Canada in 1986.
