Australia shares fall 0.9 pct; BHP, Rio slip

The S&P/ASX 200 <.AXJO> traded down 33.9 points to 3,794.3 at 0012 GMT, adding to Friday's decline, when it fell 1.3 percent. New Zealand's benchmark NZX 50 index <.NZ50> was flat at 2,760.9.
