A new refractory material developed by by the US Office of Fossil Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) demonstrates increased reliability and service life in commercial gasifier use. The new improved-performance refractory lining material has been successfully tested and could lead to greatly increased reliability and economics of gasification technology as a clean and efficient process.
