SHIPSHAW EXPLORATION UPDATE - DIOS EXPLORATION INC.

Dios Exploration announced the discovery of the Shipshaw Carbonatite Complex, in Quebec, Canada. The discovery was made by drill testing a magnetic anomaly targeting a carbonatite for strategic metals (niobium, tantalum) and rare earths. One diamond drill hole to date on the target reached a vertical depth of 190 meters and already 70 % of carbonatite material including a continuous 40 meters length of homogeneous white carbonatite has been intercepted.

MACHINGA PROJECT SOIL SAMPLING RESULTS - GLOBE METALS & MINING LIMITED

Globe Metals & Mining announced initial soil sampling results from the Machinga Rare Earth (REE) Project in southern Malawi. This orientation soil sampling program appears to indicate that almost the entire 7km+ strike length of the radiometric anomaly is highly anomalous in REE-Niobium-Tantalum. The majority of the highly anomalous results occur on and just outboard of, the mapped eastern contact of the Malosa Pluton. The results demonstrate the potential for a much larger mineralised system than originally envisioned by the Company.

OKA NIOBIUM PROPERTY - NIOCAN INC.

Niocan announced its report on the mineral resources at its niobium property located in the Ste-Sophie range of Oka in Canada, as per NI 43-101 and the CIM mineral resources classifications. The revised mineral resources estimates calculated in December 2009 are 10.63 Mt of measured and indicated resource, grading 0.68% niobium oxide and 3.22 Mt inferred resources grading 0.61% niobium oxide.

ACQUISITION OF GREVET REE PROJECT - KIRRIN RESOURCES INC.

Kirrin Resources announced that it has entered into an option agreement with Michel Proulx allowing the Company to earn a 100% interest in the Grevet Rare Earth Elements property, which is located in north-western Quebec, Canada.

KANYIKA NIOBIUM DRILL RESULTS - GLOBE METALS & MINING LIMITED

Globe Metals & Mining announced the third batch of 2009 infill drilling results from its Kanyika niobium project in Malawi. Unexpectedly wide zones of moderate to higher grade mineralisation intersected in the southern Milenje zone at Kanyika, including results from hole KARC196, cutting 63 m of 4,392ppm Nb2O5 (niobium oxide), 244ppm Ta2O5 (tantulum oxide), 103ppm U3O8 (uranium oxide) from 32 m.

ANITA SCOPING STUDY - MDN INC.

MDN reported the results of a positive Scoping Study analysis on the niobium and tantalum resources at the Anita project located in the Lac St-Jean area, in Quebec, Canada. The Scoping Study forecast project economics to be a NPV of CAN$272 million at a 5% discount and an IRR of 13.9% (pre-tax) over a mine life of 18 years and 4,000 tpd production.

The best intercepts were returned from Hole KARC170 with 16m at 11,725ppm Nb2O5, 871ppm Ta2O5 and 467ppm U3O8 from 0m and in Hole KARC176 returned 29m at 9,717ppm Nb2O5, 447ppm Ta2O5 and 336ppm U3O8 from 5m.

Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. announced assay results from surface grab sampling for rare earth elements on the Turner Falls showing, part of Hunters Point property in Villedieu Township, Quebec, Canada. Fieldex Exploration reported that a new rare earth - uranium discovery has been made on its Delbreuil property, approximately 100 km north of the corporation's Lac Sairs REE project area in Quebec, Canada. A total of 10 grab samples were collected at Delbreuil which ranged from trace to 5.70% TREO including yttrium. The rock samples returned up to 5,38% U3O8, 15,73% Nb2O5, 19,37% ZrO2, 1,21% ThO2, 5,39% Heavy Rare Earth Oxyde + Y and 5,70% TREO+Y (ratio HREO+Y/TREO+Y equals 94,5%).
